RI ZAS is a 28 year-old multi-medium artist based in New York. They have a longstanding background in fine arts, graduating with an AAS from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2018.
Following a central theme of 'beauty in decay', their work exhibits a variety of subjects commonly seen in a negative context, placed in an environment of admiration and respect. Utilizing skills developed in drawing, painting, & printmaking, this theme is explored and its subjects compared & contrasted in differing aesthetics.
